ATF is “changing its ways”

…as well it should since today the Justice Department Inspector General Glenn A. Fine released an audit reporting that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives “lost” 76 weapons and 418 laptops, tripling its rate loss since the agency’s last audit. The audit stated that “inadequate” oversight of weapons and laptops resulted in “significant rates of losses”, blaming careless and sloppy record-keeping.
What is particularly troubling is the fact that the ATF could not determine if the “lost” laptops contained sensitive or classified information.
